^C36EazView3 allows you to search files for specific words or parts of words. Select the file to search with (S)earch, then specify the number in the list. You are then prompted for the Search String. Press Return to abort the search, enter the word, part word, or words, you want to find. The search string may consist of more than one word and searches will always find matches anywhere in the text. The complete line containing the matching word is displayed. '*' and '?' wildcards may be used to indicate 0 or more characters, or 0 or 1 character, respectively. 's*a?d' will find all words containing 's', any number of characters, then 'a' followed by a single character, then a 'd', for example. '*' will list all files. Only those lines containing the word, or words, are displayed.
